Promociones Gloria, mediante sus redes sociales, hizo conocer que María Camila Sanabria es la nueva Miss Bolivia Universo 2022, tras la destitución de Fernanda Pavisic.
Acompañada de fotografías, Promociones Gloria anunció a la próxima representante boliviana en el certamen mundial de Miss Universo.
La polémica en la que se vio envuelta la modelo surgió a través de un video que Pavisic subió a sus redes sociales. En el metraje, la ahora exmiss Bolivia, en tono burlesco, se refería al físico de otras concursantes, como la Miss Potosí.
El video circuló en diversas redes sociales y causó indignación en varios medios de comunicación.
Tras la destitución, Pavisic dio a conocer su opinión sobre la determinación.
«(Mi destitución) es absolutamente injusta, porque nunca hice comentarios, ni declaraciones racistas o discriminadoras en contra de nadie. Me parece inaudito que en los argumentos que exponen para mi destitución, Promociones Gloria repita acusaciones probadamente falsas, las mismas que abundaron en las redes sociales”, escribió.
