El ministro de Gobierno, Eduardo Del Castillo, afirmó la mañana de este viernes que Marco Pumari se encuentra en una celda policial en el departamento de Potosí y que será sometido a audiencia de medidas cautelares.
“Él se encuentra en resguardo en una celda policial del departamento de Potosí y, en las próximas horas, se llevará a cabo su audiencia de medidas cautelares”, dijo Del Castillo.
El Ministro no precisó la localidad donde se encontraría Pumari, sin embargo, corre la versión de que estaría en Betanzos, en el camino hacia Sucre.
En la audiencia de medidas cautelares se definirá la situación de Pumari, si se defiende en libertad o detenido en este proceso.
El Ministro afirmó que la Policía ejecutó una orden de aprehensión emitida por autoridad judicial, debido al caso de la quema del Tribunal Electoral Departamental de 2019.
“La justicia ha encontrado indicios suficientes de que el señor Marcos Pumari habría liderizado la quema del Tribunal Electoral Deparemntal de Potosí”, afirmó.
Respecto a las reacciones de comités cívicos y otros sectores contra la detención de Pumari, Del Castillo dijo que se garantiza el derecho a la protesta en cuanto no afecte el derecho de otras personas.
