Luego de una entrevista compartida con Joe Regan, la cantante estadounidense Demi Lovato de 28 años se declaró pansexual (persona que siente atracción sexual o romántica por cualquier persona sin importar la identidad de género), acto seguido, después de que el presentador hiciera preguntas respecto a su vida sentimental.
Sin tapujos, Lovato respondió que hace un año estaba saliendo con un chico, inclusive se imaginaba casada y quizá ya esperando un hijo, pero abrió la expectativa cuando señaló que desconocía si realmente termine su vida sentimental con un chico o con quien sea. Fue así como abiertamente Demy Lovato se manifestó pansexual.
Ante la sorpresa de Regan, la cantante estadounidense dijo que en algunas ocasiones de su vida se ha sentido atraída por diferentes personas, hombres, mujeres o lo que sea, sin embargo, expresó que en algunos momentos sintió pena por reconocerlo, debido a que su familia es de descendencia cristiana.
